1Earthling is a songwriter and storyteller who creates individual songs and connected musical stories, sometimes using songs as chapters in a larger narrative. The 1Earthling Project is a connected music project built around grounded storytelling, lived experience, memory, change, work, relationships, systems, and ordinary life.
Rather than following a single release lane, 1Earthling is structured as a wider music ecosystem made up of distinct lines, including the central Music Catalog, Groove Edition, Narrative Series, Generational Shift, Shared Experience, Different Perspectives, Private Series, Time Series and other long-form story projects.
Each line has its own sound, visual identity, and purpose, but all belong to the same world. Some releases are collections of connected songs. Others unfold as chapter-based stories across an EP or LP.
The project uses music, artwork, lyric videos, websites, and booklets as part of the same experience. The songs focus on observable human moments: roads, rooms, workplaces, homes, institutions, memory, pressure, adaptation, and the quiet ways people move through change.
1Earthling is not built around one genre or one audience. It is a long-term archive of songs and stories shaped by environmental detail, restraint, and continuity.
The original human-authored lyrics are protected by copyright. 1Earthling is affiliated with APRA AMCOS for the administration of applicable music rights.
AI-assisted tools are used in the development and production of 1Earthling music.
The concepts, stories, lyrics, narrative structures, revisions, sequencing, and final creative decisions are developed and directed by me.
I am not a performing musician or part of a band. AI music-generation tools allow me to explore arrangements, instrumentation, tempo, vocal styles, and musical interpretations of my songs.
I evaluate the results, reject versions that do not meet my requirements, and continue refining until the performance closely reflects what I intended.
The purpose is straightforward: to allow people to hear the songs and stories I have written.
